Drawn to many natural subjects, Bivenne creates bold watercolor paintings of motifs she loves. Through her use of bright, saturated color, strong value contrasts, line direction, and attention to detail, Bivenne’s paintings are full of life and compelling drama, so unusual in this medium.

An award-winning artist, including recipient of CAFA’s 2016 Painting Award, and long-time regional instructor in Watercolor, Bivenne is from Great Neck, Long Island, NY, and now resides in Connecticut with her family, which includes two cats, a bird, and a corn snake.

She is an elected member of the Salmagundi Art Club, American Artists’ Professional League, and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in New York City; Academic Artists Association, Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts, and Connecticut Watercolor Society in Connecticut; an Associate member of New England Watercolor Society and Northeast Watercolor Society; Vice President of Connecticut Watercolor Society, past President of the Art Guild of Middletown (CT), and was a Charter Member of Maple & Main Gallery in Chester, CT.
