Marty O'Toole is a mixed media artist who lives and works in Hartford Connecticut. Marty has a BFA from Tufts University and a Diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Massachusetts. He has exhibited his work in group and solo shows in the New England area. His work is in public and private collections.

I use found, abandoned, and recycled materials in my artwork.

My most recent work is collage. I play around with shape, color, line , and a range of surfaces. This enables me to let the composition evolve as I add and remove elements.

My approach is to get started and see where it leads me. My frequent walks in nature provide inspiration for the geometric features of my artwork.
