Bob Adams
Bob is a self taught photographer that splits his time between Wakefield, Rhode Island and Englewood, Florida.
Bob's interest in photography began when he was ten years old and received a Kodak Instamatic 104 camera as a Christmas present. Through the years he has worked in 35mm, 6 X 7cm and 4 X 5 in. film formats before moving to digital imaging.
He recently returned working in the realm of infrared, a medium he left behind in the film days, now, using IR converted digital cameras the process is much easier and far more enjoyable.
Another medium he practiced when shooting film was hand colored black & white photographs. Bob has begun hand coloring his digital infrared images using Farber Castel watercolor pencils and Pan Pastels.
Bob's images consist mostly of work done on his travels in the United States and Europe, he enjoys shooting landscapes, wildlife and all things old, abandoned and rusty....
