Elaine Juska Joseph

Elaine Juska Joseph works in various media, but favors pastel and oil. She enjoys exploring agricultural themes and the natural world in her work. Her spacious art studio is situated on her farm in Eastern Connecticut, with a view of her gardens, horses and other farm animals from her studio windows. Color theory, particularly in the pastel medium, always plays a prominent role in her work.

Elaine received her BFA from Parsons School of Design and furthered her studies with courses and workshops at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. She exhibits regionally and nationally and is represented by Equis Art Gallery in Red Hook, NY. Elaine is a member of the following art societies:
