John Redick studied at Valparaiso University and The Ohio State University. His work has won prizes at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Newport Art Museum, the Von Liebig Art Center in Naples Florida, the Artists’ Guild of Chicago, and the Crane Estate Peoples’ Choice Award 2013. His work is in public art collections including the American Hospital Association, Chicago Film Council, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, U Mass Memorial Hospital, Children’s Hospital Boston, Newton Wellesley Hospital, Bentley University, Grant Thornton Edison NJ and Miami, and the Brauer Museum of Art—Valparaiso University. His work may be seen at North Light Gallery in Belfast Maine. His process simplifies the landscape to the edge of abstraction.
