Lawrence Mello

A Rhode Island Art Educator for 35 years and residential contractor, designer and builder.

Larry is currently painting in oils, watercolors and acrylics and exhibiting his works of art throughout New England in his retirement.

After graduation from RI College with a B.S. in Industrial Arts and studying sculpture and painting with artists Enrico Pinardi and Angelo Rosati, Larry received his MAE from the RI School of Design, where his instructors included artists Arnold Prince and Tom Morin.

Larry is a long-time member and exhibitor at Lyme Art Association and elected artist to the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts.

Larry’s Art is focused on capturing a specific place, time or emotion with subjects close to the artist.
