I was born in Houlton, Maine in 1951 and grew up in Coventry, Connecticut. After retiring from a 35 year art education career I built an art studio in my back yard and resumed painting. I have won many art awards and my paintings have appeared in national publications. I work from photographs and my paintings are predominantly representational in style. I photograph images of interest based on my experiences and travel such as the wilderness, weathered barns, historic buildings and other subject matter. Commissions welcome.
